Jefferson County is Oregon’s most ethnically diverse County. It is also the only community in Central Oregon that does not have a Parks and Recreation District. Kids@Heart partners in Jefferson County are working with the school district and city to promote joint use and use it as a means to help schools become stronger community focal-points.
