Residents of Pacific Highlands Ranch must wait an additional two years before they can enjoy Gonzales Canyon Neighborhood Park. Plans for the 10-acre park, which will include five acres of joint use land, began two years ago. The city had expected to have the park completed by 2013 but has delayed its development because of funding problems.
